Please do not use a credit card! Use only cash!

Avoiding two things in life nowadays is crucial. One is bank debt, which practically binds individuals and families for a lifetime. It requires constant work with no respite, as a serious illness or unemployment can lead to family bankruptcy. It's a fate akin to slavery. The other is abandoning cash. In the Decathlon store in Kecskemét, there are no longer cashiers—only machines. Recently, a new Lidl opened with six card-only ATMs and just one accepting cash. In Rossmann, new machines were installed allowing card-only payments. In Budapest, the public transport (BKV) set up 30 ticket vending machines that only accept cards. People are being accustomed to this change. Eventually, cash machines will disappear, and cashiers will vanish from stores. Tens of thousands of people will lose their jobs. There simply won't be a need for cashiers. In many places worldwide, only credit cards are accepted. Have you ever considered that if cash ceases to exist, you will become entirely vulnerable to the system?

In his pocket, he will have a 3-gram plastic card. This will be his life. However, he will no longer control this life; the banks will. People entrust their money to the banks and their freedom to politicians. If he pays with a credit card, he will become just a cog and a slave to the system. Let it serve as a warning, as on July 8, 2022, in Canada, life came to a half-day standstill. The internet, phones, electricity, and all banking services, including ATMs, shut down. People panicked. Standing at the gas station or in the store, he couldn't pay. Store doors with photocell sensors wouldn't open. He couldn't make a phone call. No internet. No cash in his pocket. Most houses lack a three-day food supply; perhaps there's enough in his fridge. There's no backyard garden.

You don't keep animals because you live in the city in an apartment building. You are not prepared for self-sufficiency because so far, you've been able to buy everything from the multinationals. And suddenly, disaster strikes. Everything comes to a halt, and you have no cash because you only have a credit card. What do you do? And what do 8 billion people do? Have you ever thought about this? If it happened on July 8th, what guarantees that it won't happen tomorrow? Or the day after tomorrow? Because a complete shutdown is not a fantasy. After it happened this summer, what guarantees that it won't happen again? For a day. For a week. For a month. Or even forever. And the shutdown on July 8th is not a hoax. After the shutdown on July 8th, I called my friends in Toronto on the 9th. There was panic because almost everyone there uses a credit card. In Sweden, many people no longer know what their own money looks like. There is no cash under the pillow or buried in the garden. The banks are your bosses because your money is with them.

The question is when they will shut off the money tap. You have become vulnerable. You depend on the system because you no longer have cash. Is this what you want? Almost every store now has a card terminal. They convince you that it's fast and convenient, but every card payment is a massive own goal. To put it a bit bluntly, you could even call it suicide. A slow death, but a death nonetheless. The death of your freedom. And you willingly part with it by paying with a card. It's only a matter of time, and the yellow check at utility providers will disappear. If you don't have a credit card, you won't have gas, water, or electricity at home. E-bills have been pushed for years. Cash must not be abandoned because that would be the nation's death. With cash, you keep the cashier in the store alive. If you buy from a farmer at the market, you keep them alive too. You buy Hungarian products with Hungarian forints. If the natural circulation of cash remains, and we put it in the pockets of Hungarian people, you could save thousands of Hungarian families, including your own. I wrote this not out of lecturing, cynicism, malice, or cleverness, but solely guided by good intentions. We have no other weapon but the power of words and enlightenment. Please do not use a credit card! Use only cash!
