THE ISIS IS COMING BACK
The HTS, which is classified as a terrorist organization by Russia, the UN, the USA, the EU, and Turkey, and is the successor to the Al-Qaeda and ISIS terrorist organizations, launched an offensive in Syria’s Idlib province on November 29, together with other armed groups. The next day, for the first time since the outbreak of the Syrian Civil War in 2011, the terrorist militias took control of Aleppo, the country’s second-largest city.
On December 5, the Syrian army withdrew from the strategically important city of Hama, which was occupied by the Islamists for the first time since the start of the conflict.
Abu Muhammad al-Joulani, in an interview with CNN on December 6 at an undisclosed location, emphasized:
"Under Assad, Syria became a source of problems for everyone." In contrast, an Islamic government would align with "the traditions and nature of the region. Those who fear an Islamic government or have seen its improper implementation do not properly understand the goals of the Islamic state."
It is striking that the terrorists are once again equipped with American weapons, just like their predecessors, ISIS.
